Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships

The Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for building and sustaining the organization’s philanthropic, institutional, and strategic relationships. This role will advance Wind River Development Fund’s mission by securing unrestricted and multi-year funding, strengthening national partnerships, and positioning the organization as a model of Native-led economic innovation. This team member will serve as a bridge between Wind River Development Fund and the philanthropic world, fostering relationships rooted in reciprocity, trust, and shared purpose. The position may be based in Wyoming or remote with regular travel to the Wind River Reservation.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Landscaping Services

The Wind River Development Fund (WRDF) is seeking to contract with a local landscaping company to maintain the grounds and irrigation system at the Frank B. Wise Business Plaza and Wind River Veterans Memorial. The landscaping company will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and specialized equipment to fulfill the services agreed upon. In addition, the landscaping company will be required to carry insurance and list WRDF as an additional insured. The work is expected to commence in late April with a spring clean-up, installation of annuals in various beds, and then regular maintenance throughout the remainder of the year. The scope of work for regular maintenance will include:

  • Picking up and disposing of trash
  • Mowing grass
  • Trimming around rocks, signs, and sidewalks
  • Blowing sidewalks and walkways
  • Pulling weeds (use of chemicals prohibited)
  • Mulching in beds
  • Testing and repairing sprinkler system, if needed
